Join the Margaritaville State of Mind!
We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead operations at Joe Merchant’s Coffee Shop, our laid-back yet high-energy grab-and-go outlet. This is more than just coffee—it's about creating unforgettable guest experiences with a smile, great service, and a little island attitude.

In this role, you'll take ownership of all F&B operations at Joe Merchant’s, from budgeting and inventory to menu development, staff leadership, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings a passion for hospitality, strong operational experience, and thrives in a fast-paced, upscale resort environment—all while embracing the Margaritaville lifestyle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations of Joe Merchant’s Coffee Shop, ensuring seamless service and an exceptional guest experience.

  • Manage staff hiring, training, scheduling, and performance with a positive leadership style.

  • Oversee inventory, purchasing, and vendor relations to ensure efficiency and cost control.

  • Collaborate with culinary teams to update offerings and keep menus fresh and aligned with guest preferences.

  • Uphold cleanliness, safety, and compliance with resort and brand standards.

  • Monitor budgets and drive sales while maintaining high quality and service standards.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven F&B management experience in a high-end, high-volume café or quick-service outlet.

  • Strong leadership and team development skills.

  • Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality.

  • Ability to multitask and stay cool under pressure—flip-flops optional, professionalism required.

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, ordering platforms, and inventory management tools.

  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel/resort setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Proficient in menu planning and development
  • Understanding of inventory management and ordering procedures
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • ServSafe certification is a plus
