Lead Paradise as General Manager – Bakers Cay Resort, Key Largo

 

Are you an accomplished, visionary leader with a passion for hospitality and a love for creating unforgettable guest experiences? This is your chance to lead one of the most breathtaking resorts in the Florida Keys. As General Manager of the prestigious Bakers Cay Resort, you’ll bring high energy, strategic vision, and hands-on leadership to guide our team toward continued excellence.

 

We’re seeking a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment and has a proven track record in luxury hotel or resort management. You’ll be the driving force behind operational excellence, revenue growth, and a culture of service that turns first-time guests into lifelong loyalists.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of resort operations, including guest services, sales, marketing, finance, and HR

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive profitability

  • Foster a culture of exceptional guest service and high employee engagement

  • Maintain the highest operational standards, quality controls, and service delivery

  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of department heads and associates

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with ownership, investors, and key stakeholders

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure a competitive edge

  • Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement revenue-generation strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience as a General Manager in a  resort

  • Strong financial acumen with a proven history of managing budgets, revenue, and expenses

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities

  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Passion for delivering extraordinary guest experiences in a luxury setting
