Are you a strategic, hands-on hospitality sales leader with a passion for driving revenue and team success? Join us as Director of Sales and Marketing and take charge of the property’s overall sales performance, with a strong emphasis on Group Sales and total hotel revenue generation. This is a selling DOSM position that oversees a team of four sales professionals, setting clear goals, coaching performance, and leading by example in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
As the DOSM, you will develop and execute a comprehensive Sales & Marketing Plan that enhances visibility, drives demand, and increases market share through GSO relationships, local partnerships, and targeted marketing strategies. You’ll work closely with hotel ownership and Marriott brand teams to align objectives and deliver consistent results.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4 sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and goal-driven culture
Create and implement effective sales strategies for group, corporate, and transient business segments
Drive business through Marriott GSO, local community outreach, and direct sales efforts
Leverage the hotel’s unique selling points, including stunning event space, luxury accommodations, and location
Build strong relationships with hotel ownership and participate in revenue strategy meetings
Maximize exposure through Marriott tools and CI/TY systems (experience a plus)
Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and optimize the hotel’s RevPAR and ADR
Work closely with marketing to ensure strategic visibility across digital platforms and local markets
Act as the face of the hotel in the business community, trade shows, and key industry events
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of progressive hotel sales experience
Minimum 2 years in a hotel sales leadership role
Full-service Marriott experience strongly preferred
Proven success in Group Sales and executing high-performing sales plans
Experience with CI/TY, Salesforce, or similar Hospitality CRM systems
Established relationships in the agency and travel industry community
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to analyze data, forecast revenue, and identify growth opportunities
High energy, polished professional presence, and team-first mindset
