Overview

Are you a passionate, strategic, and driven hospitality sales and marketing leader ready to elevate a prestigious luxury boutique hotel to new heights? Royal Park Hotel is seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to spearhead our efforts in driving revenue, maximizing market share, and solidifying our reputation as the premier destination for upscale accommodations and world-class events.

 

This high-profile, selling leadership role oversees a talented team of seven professionals in Sales and Catering. We are seeking a hands-on leader who excels at building relationships, creating strategic sales plans, and driving performance through proactive selling efforts. As our hotel emerges from a stunning full-property renovation, this is a rare and exciting opportunity to redefine our positioning, capture new business, and further elevate our status in the luxury hospitality space.

 

Our property is renowned for hosting high-end social events, galas, weddings, and sophisticated corporate gatherings, making catering and events a significant focus of this role. We’re looking for a Director of Sales and Marketing with a keen eye for detail, creativity in selling, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will play a key role in taking Royal Park Hotel to the next level of success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 7 Sales and Catering professionals.

  • Serve as a selling Director of Sales and Marketing, actively building relationships and securing business.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue and increase market share.

  • Focus on upscale social events and luxury catering opportunities, while also driving corporate and leisure business.

  • Leverage the hotel’s recent renovation to reposition and strengthen brand presence.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and the local community.

  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate partnerships to expand reach.

  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure sales efforts align with hotel objectives and brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required or equivalent experience  
  • 5+ years progressive hotel sales experience  
  • Minimum 2 years hotel sales leadership experience or equivalent  
  • Ability to execute a Sales and Marketing Plan to enhance revenue  
  • Established relationships within the agency community  
  • Negotiation/interpretation of contracts skills  
  • Business communication skills both written and verbal  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suites  
  • Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems
  • Present confidence and a professional appearance
