The property features 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, encompassing three ballrooms, meeting rooms, a pavilion, courtyard, and garden. These spaces were redone in grays, blues, neutrals, and light wood accents, displaying themes that honor local academia, the City of Cambridge, and the Charles River.

The Sr. Social Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing the selling, business development, and initial planning of weddings and local social events, managing teams who will curate each event to the unique needs of our guests. A key objective of this high-level proactive selling role is to meet and exceed annual revenue targets as outlined, ensuring exceptional and seamless social catering and wedding experiences at the hotel for couples, their families, and guests. Below are the key responsibilities for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
• Proven experience in catering or event management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Strategic mindset and business acumen
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed
• Overtime Exempt Manager (OEM)
• Target Salary Range $85,000-$100,000
