Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure a seamless guest experience by maintaining top-notch service in meetings, private parties, lounges, and restaurants.
  • Financial Wizardry: Manage department within budget, forecasting revenues/expenses, and analyzing financial information for strategic adjustments.
  • People Management: Lead and mentor your team, focusing on recruitment, training, performance reviews, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Stay ahead of industry trends, fostering strong vendor relationships, and instilling a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Business Management: Assist in the preparation of F&B budgets, identify revenue opportunities, and collaborate on vendor selection for quality service.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with 2+ years in food and beverage management, preferably in hotels.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and direct a team, with strong time management and negotiation skills.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to interpret financial data, create operational plans, and understand the impact of beverage costs on financial statements.
  • Knowledge Base: Working knowledge of wine, liquor, inventory methods, purchasing, and financial statements.
  • Communication: Fluent in English, with effective communication skills for engaging with the public and team members.
  • Legal Requirements: Possession of Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable, and meeting the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction.
