As an Assistant Director of Finance, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analyze data for trends and variances.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process and monitor budget adherence. 
• Ensure accuracy of accounting records and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Implement and monitor controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance. 
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance with audit requirements. 
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting a collaborative environment.
• Oversee payroll for accounting team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and company policies. 
• Conduct variance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Work with other departments to support financial goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience in an accounting role; prior experience in a hotel environment preferred

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software (ProfitSword, M3, etc.)
• Knowledge of Hilton OnQ system preferred
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
